Freight Costs
Our bulk orders from Germany are done monthly. Shipping to Singapore takes about 14 days. We will inform you via email as soon as your books have arrived and are ready for collection.
Please note that although you collect your ordered books from us, you are still charged your share of the shipping costs from Germany to Singapore:
- order value up to 30 SGD: 6.50 SGD
- order value up to 60 SGD: 12.50 SGD
- order value up to 100 SGD: 18.50 SGD
- order value up to 150 SGD: 24.50 SGD
- order value up to 200 SGD: 29.50 SGD
- order value up to 250 SGD: 34.50 SGD
- order value up to 300 SGD: 39.50 SGD
- order value up to 350 SGD: 44.00 SGD
- order value up to 400 SGD: 48.00 SGD
- order value over 400 SGD: prices available on request
Payment
We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer, PayLah and PayNow. Currently, it is not possible to pay by credit card and debit card. Payment is due on collection for the ordered items. Thus, you do not incur any financial risk if the goods do not arrive in Singapore. In this case, we will either reorder the items or cancel them. German Bookstore assumes the financial risk in the case of loss in transport. Goods remain the property of German Bookstore until they have been paid for in full.
Return of defective goods
We wish to deliver high-quality goods and achieve the greatest possible customer satisfaction. For that reason, we offer you a simple return service. If the goods prove to be defective, please call us within 7 days of receiving your delivery. After we have taken the goods back and inspected them, you will receive a credit from German Bookstore. Please note that reduced items or goods showing traces of wear or defects caused by usage cannot be taken back.
